All started over 20 years ago when my dad retired from his sales job after 40 years. He had no real hobbies and he got bored really quick. I had just graduated highschool and as a father & son activity we went to school for Information Technology. Well before the days of Cloud based services and Virtual Machines. We got certifications in Microsoft and Novell, etc. After we finished school, my dad started a business and I went back to Nursing school while working with him part time.
Network and Server Administrator’s with experience in Windows and Linux. I have built networks while the building is being built and I have taken over existing networking projects. Manage, improve, and troubleshoot networks, servers, workstations, etc. While my fulltime right now is Managing 3 hospice offices, I continue to work after hours and on weekends with several clinics, offices and other businesses on their IT needs.
I have a vast amount of experience and knowledge in both the IT and Medical Field. As a Nurse for over 18 years I have worked in hospitals, rehab and skilled nursing, home health and even hospice. I have worked all levels from floor nurse to nursing supervisor to director. Currently managing 3 Hospice companies.
I recently went back to school, San Diego State University, to study Cyber Security (should be completed in Aug 2023) and I am looking to break into that industry.
